Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack is delightfully tacky & I mean that in the best possible way. This is a neat little dive bar with a limited menu that they seem to have perfected. Here's what my wife had to say on Trip Advisor:
"We traveled thru Tallahassee twice while on recent road trip. They were packed the first time, but we lucked out the second time. They have inside and outside seating, which you seat yourself. We found a table and promptly greeted by our waitress who took our drink order. They have a good selection of beers, liquor, sodas, and tea. I got Abita root beer. The menu seems pretty basic, but they have so many options. We started with a half dozen grilled oysters with garlic and parm. These were pretty tasty.

Next up, we each got a burger. One was your standard bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. The other creation was burger with creamy peanut butter, cheddar, and bacon. I know it sounds weird, but it's a great combo.

Our burgers arrived with fries and onion rings. The patty is thick and juicy, has a beefy flavor. The buns are soft but hold up to the weight of the burger. These things are huge and we really should have split one. The fries were good, but we should have gotten spices added to them. The onion rings were really crispy, but got cold quick. We would definitely go here again."

After about 9pm they stop table service and you order at the bar. Our
waitress was nice enough and got out orders since we're newbies. They offer live bands, trivia, and other entertainment at night. This night,
Shaken Not Stirred Burlesque were setting up as we were leaving. If we were not so tired we would have stuck around to enjoy the show.
Great food, excellent service, awesome atmosphere!
