Cheesy Jalapeño Corn Dog via Tasty
So I saw this video on Facebook & talked my wife into helping me create these "spicy" Cheesy Jalapeño Corn Dog. I say "spicy" because there really wasn't much spice to to them at all. My wife & I are both chili heads, so maybe we are accustomed to more heat.
A few things we noticed were:
1. We used a 6 pack of sausages. The original recipe calls for 4 hot dogs. I suspect this is because the cheese comes off the last 2 while frying the first 4. We had to put the last 2 back in the freezer for a bit.
2. Honestly, these were no better than the frozen premade corn dogs you can buy at the grocery store.
3. We ended up with extra batter, so we used it to make hush puppies.I enjoyed these more than the corn dogs.

I don't see us ever making these again. In my opinion, it was not worth the hassle or the mess.
