Sal's Neighborhood Pizzeria

We drove all the way to Georgia to eat New York style pizza made by a guy from New Jersey

See what had happened was......We originally wanted to eat at Southern Soul Barbeque, but when we arrived, there was a line out to the street. We had an ambitious road trip planned, so we couldn't wait. My wife called to inquire as to the wait time for a table for 2. The gentleman quoted her, "2 minutes to 2 hours. No clue really. Sorry" Time for a plan B. Thanks to the wonderful YELP, we found the perfect place. Onto Sal's Neighborhood Pizzeria we went.

Luckily, Sal was in store so we got to witness 1st hand how charming he is. He stopped to thank everyone customer as they left. He even took a poll of the whole restaurant to see if we were enjoying our meals.
Since you've stuck with me this long, I guess I should tell how great the food & wonderful waitress Meagan was. My wife & I shared these items:

Fried Ravioli - Perfect crispy outside, creamy ricotta cheese inside. Delicious tomato dipping sauce.

6 piece buffalo "hot" wings - tasty but wish they were actually spicy hot.

6 piece teriyaki wings - Exceptionally good. I'd definitely order these again

I'm usually a carnivore but this meatless pie was OUTSTANDING. I thought about adding pepperoni but was afraid it would make it greasy. I'm glad I left it unaltered. It was terrific with great flavors.

Meagan checked on us often, gave us suggestions, and quickly delivered our food.
I really hope we can travel back this way again.
