CHICKEN FAJITA MARINADE

I was searching for a homemade marinade but nothing I found was exactly what I wanted. So my solution was to create my own. I just used some things I already had on hand. This turned out terrific. I made sure I wrote down exactly what I did in order to recreate it & share the recipe here with you fine folks.

Chicken Fajita Recipe
2 large chicken breasts*
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons taco seasoning*
4 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons honey

Mix well then refrigerate 4 hours to overnight

In the pics below, you'll see the tacos we made using the marinade:

The Bravado Spice Co Crimson hot sauce can be found here

*The recipe for the taco seasoning I used can be found here

*I like to season chicken with HungryHeath Pork & Poultry Rub, then freeze as soon as I get home. As it thaws it also marinates. The flavors meld well with the marinade above. You can certainly skip this step.
