West Coast Cruise Day 8

Day 08 Wednesday April 4, 2018

Stick with me team, this is going to be a LONG post. This was our 1st port & we saw a lot of stuff....

Upon arrival at the port of Santa Barbara, California, I hopped out on the balcony to grab some pictures while we waited on our room service breakfast to be delivered.

A few minutes later, I hear a knock on our door. Breakfast is here!

After we finished eating, it's time to gather the family & meet our tour guide. We did a little site seeing en route to our four tastings (2 wineries, an olive oil ranch & a brewery)

Our first stop was at Lafond Winery & Vineyard in Buellton, California. We arrived here, shortly after a large bus from our ship. This caused the building to become very crowded. As a result, wasn't able to get any interior photos.
Sampling list

Souvenir wine glass & olive oil

The second winery was Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard in Solvang, California. This stop was much more spacious. We also beat the tour bus & were able to enjoy a picnic lunch.

We also got to sample some of the pepper jelly made at the vineyard

Our third stop was at Rancho Olivos in Santa Ynez, California.

Our fourth & last stop was to Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company in Los Olivos, California. Here we enjoyed the nice weather while our tour guide served us three different beer flights. I would have liked to purchase a souvenir glass, but sadly they were sold out.
