West Coast Cruise Day 15
Day 15 Wednesday, April 11th 2018
Following up from my previous post, Shelly scheduled us a private tour guide for 4 different wineries, but first, we need to eat breakfast. Next door to our hotel was this hip joint called Medina. They have a splendid breakfast menu. The only thing I didn't like was that they did not offer sodas. So I was forced to order a screwdriver. What an awful way to start the day. 😁

After that beautiful breakfast we met up with out tour guide, the wonderful Winston. He promptly took us to our first stop Township 7

















Next up is Back Yard Vineyards








Then we continue the buzz at Chaberton Winery

When we arrived at the last winery, Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery, they were actually closed. Winston went in to talk to the owners & explain that we were from out of town. They graciously gave us a private tour.

Now that we are good & drunk, it's time to eat lunch. Winston, took us to Mangia e Scappa

We went straight back to the hotel since we had an early morning flight to get back to Houston. The only direct flight we could find left at 6am, which means we had to wake up around 4am in order to get 5 people & all the luggage to the airport. Plus go thru security. After packing all of stuff up I began to get hungry. While my wife slept, I ordered some delivery from Dixie’s BBQ

This was a tremendous vacation. It was a joy remembering all this. Thanks for taking the time to read it.
